I am so freaking happy she is nowhere near that, now, crapfest of a show. If she was we'd get a repeat of Dawn when it came to the shallow portrayal by the fandom. And the portrayal Hilda gets now is mostly horrible, imagine if she was in the anime? The fandom would get 20% dumber.
Not only would the writers make her lame and give her the same rinse and repeat stereotypical personality most females in the anime have. Fans would make it worse.
Thank Arceus she is not on the show.
I don't even want her to get the Lyra treatment. Let her remain lost in the void caused by the GS Ball. Kthxbai.
On N. I don't want him in the show either. His appearance on the show will also cause part of the fandom to get dumber.

Don't get me wrong. I actually like Ash, and the anime too, the latter to an extent. But you can't deny the fact that it's beyond horrible. It has so much potential, yet it just wipes it's ass with it and throws it away. And since it's the most accesible, it's stupidity is what most people think for Pokemon and accept it. And then some make it even more stupid with their horrible portrayals of the characters in fandom.

I find Hilda's choice of words to be quite interesting, since it's been largely established since the 90's that Pokemon has three separate and distinct canons (games, anime, manga). It's hard for Ash to ruin the games' canon when he's in a wholly separate universe. The only time the anime came close to the games' lore was in Origins and Generations, which are still separate universes from the main anime.

In this day and age, I would be very surprised to meet a non-fan who doesn't know a single Pokemon fan and thus wouldn't know about there being three wholly separate continuities without either having lived under a rock for the past two decades or isn't involved with any large franchise with multiple adaptations that aren't always faithful to either each other or to the source material. It's par for the course.Β
The Pokemon anime really can't wreck the games or the manga, regardless of perception, unless the person wants to be extremely petty about it. Long and short of it is that Hilda and Ash do no co-exist in the same universe and all three forms of Pokemon media (four if you count the TCG) contradict each other as a matter of principle because of the nature of each medium.Β
Far as I'm concerned, it's a complete non-issue inherent to any franchise with multiple adaptations across platforms. Take Sengoku Basara. It's one of my favorite animes but it started off as a game first and has manga adaptations. Each one is fairly different from the others. Especially with the first anime and Judge End. The Samurai Legends manga outright contradicts the anime multiple times. I can't even speak for the games since Capcom of America fucked up big time with the first game, skipped over the second game, and then releasing the third game to low sales because they didn't advertise it very well. And this is a series with a huge following in both the West and Japan. It would be bigger here if Capcom had been a little bit smarter about things but weren't.

Are Genwunners non-fans? I have seen a lot of people who believe that you always play as Ash, get 8 gym badges and stop Team Rocket which more often than not has them mention Jessie, James and Meowth. Grade A under A's very innacuratly informed rant about PokΓ©mon. I have seen a great many usernames in both the core games and PokΓ©mon go where people name themselves Ash. And even poorly informed news sites have reported on the games being "about Ash." There was one site I saw that said that "Team Rocket has been replaced by Team Skull", implying Team Rocket was always the villains of every game. The influence of the anime taints the perception of the games.

I partially agree with you, some of the aspect of the current episodes are truly bad, sometimes maybe even horrible (Ash being seen and behaving like a rookie again, after taking down Darkrai and Latios on TV, Losing so horribly to Trip, for example), but "beyond horrible", is a bit harsh. There are some redeeming parts in the anime, like the Team Galactic plot in D/P even if it was to short, or Team Rockets return to spotlight. Not that I claim, it's really good, just that it still isn't atrocious. Still, itβs only my opinion. Also anyone other than me thinks that Hilbert is extremely similar to Ash and Red? I know that most Male Characters are his expies, but he seems especially similar from looks.

Well... Hilbert (or however is called on your language region) revives the cap, I mean, Ruby/Sapphire and Diamon/Pearl protagonists wear... I don't even know how to call those thing on their heads. Also Hilbert wears a jacket over the black T-shirt, the only thing diferent with Ash's one is the length of the sleeves, following the tendency of making boys more heavy clothed and the opposite with girls.(*long breathing)
Also I hate the fact that every season Ash resets to 10 years old and pikachu to lvl 5.

Pokemon the first movie i heard was post to be the FINAL thing for the anime but become a cash cow and didn't want to end it. that also why Ash is still 10 when yeasr's has pass in the pokemon world and in our world. the guys who does the anime i think it just one guy don't give a crap about the anime or the views saying they be replace, seem like ever since the guy it done the story for the anime died it gone down

i think game freak did a good call making the character's older in the manga Red is like 18 when fire red manga came out. i think? the guy it made pokemon said that the manga is close to his idea of how pokemon would be. pokemon games are so amazing how it for all ages.

Yeah its hard to beat some games... i can only beat like Sonic and pokemon games and zelda, i only beat like two of the final fantasy games and one was a spin off,
some games can be just be a hard, but they are final bosses so i guess they not post to just be easy.
i gotta say Red from gold and silver and crystal was one of the hardest out of the pokemon games. also the highest lvl i think that could change most likely by any new game it comes out.

I see and yes alice world is hard... so is the jungle one. i don't wanna give out anything but little mermaid world is just as bad it funny how it comes back in the first two games... ;w; funny how the first game so hard KH2 some of the bosses was hard on it like the water guy but i played on easy and still was hard
on the PSP game i played one on easy and hard on one alter playing awhile you would enjoy hard mode at higher lvl on the PSP game if you have a PSP you should get it. great story to it

Yea.... you get heal later on has to buy potions what ever you call them XD kinda like a final fantasy game before you get healing spell that the thing about the 2nd KH it some what easier con pair to the first one
still hard at times i have a friend that got the new 3DS KH game and heart it on the hardest you can put it on and it unlock a even harder mode? to be honest i think normal and normal hard is well hard i can't even think what pass proud hard is.
