The wires freak me out completely (the red ones the most) xD but if I try to block them out, Al's face is just... ZOMG O__O really handsome.

Yes, very "Ghost in the Shell"-ish. I had a similar idea with Al getting the help of an Izanamean alchemist (if Xing is the alchemic world's China, what is it's Japan? Izanami, of course!) after his armor is severely damaged. But I lack the artistic chops to pull it off. We must have shared a stray brainwave at one time.
Now, if Al could make himself invisible like Major Kusanagi can, Ed would be so jealous.

No offense, but when I saw the small version I was like "this is so cute"... but the wires were a bit of a turn-off. XD
