NEW TUTORIAL~thought it was about time I made an updated version of my new eye style
A lot of people seemed interested so its a good a time as any~
I hope its helpful and do feel free to ask if you dont understand
My brain isnt functioning properly so words are a little all over the place lol

This is just to make it easier, rather than having to repeat the same answers over and over again.
1.What programs do you use?
I use paint tool sai mainly to do all the sketching, lining and colouring.
I use photoshop CS2 to edit and add final touches (this is available on their website for a free download)
2.What programs do you think are better for drawing?
Honestly any program with the right tools will get you far,Β
some have functions that will help to do things quicker, but ultimately its how you make use of it
and what suits your style and way of drawing best
Just experiment and see which you feel more comfortable with
3. How old are you?
Im 18 >v<, coming up to 19 next month
4. What kind of tablet do you use?
I have 2 tablets, my Wacom bamboo and my Cintiq 13HD
I switch between the 2 depending on the computer Im using and the place
as sometimes a smal
the brush is what I use to ink

Such a great unique style that i noticed in your drawings ^^, i wasn't used to the 'doll' effect it creates at frst, but once you get used to it (and make it yourself) it's pretty XP, i only don't understand how the whole 'opacity lock' thing works, do you have any advice or maybe link a tutorial that may help?

I know what you mean, I saw this style around
and never thought it would work with my style
but it really does work out
ohh preserve opacity basically locks the layerΒ
so first you have to draw something before your preserve opactity
then lock it and on that same layer draw something, and nothing will go outside of what you already drew
if that makes sense, if it doesnt i can find a tutorial for you

its all good, thank you ^^! that helps out because i generally just spam 'clipping group' and make a new layer every time << (my avatar drawing went to about 170+ layers <<').Β

there are a lot of other methods too, look up masking
masking lets you mas a whole group/folder to one area so clipping isnt necessaryΒ
its pretty hand, but just try and see what works for you,
its different for everyone
