PLEASE DON'T VIEW IF YOU HAVEN'T READ HP6 YET ;_; This contains mild spoilers! AND SPOILERS ARE EVIL! AIEEE! XD (coughs)Posted first in my other journal, Snape after that DE raid in HP6. Text is what Snape said to Dumbledore (according to Hagrid) during their argument in the Forbidden Forest.

I LOVE those sleeves. I probably won't be able to help seeing Snape with sleeves like that when I read the books now.

My friend Adam told me to comment on this (beings as he's to choked up to do it himself) but I really really find this to be one of the most emotionally moving pictures Iv'e seen. The way everything just blurs out in the background, the way he's prodding his arm, everything in this picture has meaning.

I love this artwork, and the title gives it the best meaning ever. Severus must be redeemed, otherwise all the morals concerning prejudice and trust throughout the series would be lost. Shouldn't at least one Death Eater find redemption? (The rat, Peter, doesn't count, because most of us are already counting on him turning around...eventually.) The real question isn't whether he will redeem himself, it's how.

I just wanted to drop you a line ... I love HP art so I've viewed tons and tons of it, but this is absolutely my favorite Snape painting of all of them. Everything about it is perfect - not a single thing out of place and not a single thing that doesn't hold an overwhelming amount of meaning. It's a truly, truly brilliant work. Thank you for sharing.

i really like this. did you use a tablet? if so, what kind? i'm looking into getting one, so i'm comparing what other people are using on things i like. the atmospherics are really good, and you had a good starting point, i like the sort of stumbling motion he's posed in.
