New artwork series, (or hopefully it'll be series). Random idea that came to my head. Also, I wanted to practice my skills in watercolor paints. Gradients are tricky ;_;Used reference picture: this one

Oh, this is so pretty! How did you get the diamond in the background so perfect? As someone who dabbles in watercolour from time to time, I must know your secrets

I'm glad you liked it! :> I took a paper tape (don't know if that's the name for it, anyway, that one used to secure things when painting on a wall, or something), I measured things up, attached the tape (but don't press too hard), painted the background, gently removed the tape and then moved to painting everything else. I hope this helps! :3

Ah, okay! I've tried using that sort of tape before, but it always wrecked the paperΒ So, don't press it down too hard, huh? I'll make sure to keep that in mind next time. Thank you!
