This was also my deviant hand submission. I have done a few subtle changes that I think add to the piece. I took Digi's suggestion of getting rid of the overlay. I think it adds alot to the image. I touched it up a bit around the eye.This is my final sub of this piece, and this is my keeper for my library. I hope everyone likes it, I am quite proud of it. And I was thinking about doing a tutorial on it, or a making of, but I dont know if anyone would want it. Should I?

i'm suprised you didn't over do it by adding hands onto the fingers of the smaller hands. not to say you would, only complementing because most people would, and ruin it

good work on this nate, the outcome is dark and gloomy which is great! nice work on the hand especially the tentacle/wire thing. the textures and colors are well done, great deviation from nate!

a very origina concept - that hand is awesomely executed - another 3dsm effort?
the blood behind is authentic enough, but IMHO the grey background does not suit this piece - i would suggest something more intricate with perhaps an indian motif - or conversely something incredibly spare and minmalistic.
a lovely final piece though - congrats.
