I have been practicing profile views, can you tell? hahaAnyways, I have been dying to draw a kiss scene for a while now so I decided to draw Riku and Hinata.
This is shortly after Riku arrives back at the island from the Mastery Test in Dream Drop Distance and he tells Hinata he became a Keyblade Master.
I've been wanting to draw him with his short hair again, it's really growing on me.
I did a simpler shading this time, especially with the hair. I suppose you could say I got lazy, but my tablet reset and all my settings and perfect brushes disappeared. *sigh* So I settled with doing a simpler shading until I can reorganize everything again.

I'm in love with Hinata's hair!!! I love it long with half up!! It's Gorgeous! And I love her shirt! The split sleeves are my favorite! And I think that shade of blue looks really beautiful on her!

I can definitely tell that your style has looked a little different with these past few pictures, especially on your profiles. I think they look quite nice! Profiles can be really difficult to get right.
I really like Hinata's hairstyle, I think it's so pretty! I love the little ponytail in the back.

Yes, I always had a really hard time drawing manga style profile views. A lot of them don't really define the area between the forehead and the nose and it honestly threw me off. So looking at myself in the mirror and at pictures has really helped me understand how a profile is actually supposed to look.
Thank you! I wanted to try something a little different for her and I think once she gets back to the island shes going to let it grow out again.

This actually look pretty nice, the shading and way they look are great. But I should point out that Hinata's kinda need more work. However, everything look amazing really good.
To be honest, I always prefer her with short hair than long hair. Because it suit more of her personality. Her long her hair make her famine like Kairi and look like she settle down from fighting. While short hair make her look like she's ready to battle and able handle stuff by herself(just like in Third Beginning). But that just a weird idea that I came up, since in anime; Hair-styled can describe the character's personality.

But I went through and redid my settings now so I'm thinking of editing this picture and fixing Hinata's hair.
Yeah I personally prefer her short hair too. At the time of the picture she'll be back at Destiny Island for over a year without having to fight. So she grew it back out. But once KH3 comes around she'll cut it short again to get ready.
