I will probably keep him like on the right side and probably make a little ref sheet

After maybe... 6 or 7 years, or maybe even more, it's time to bring an old character back to life.

He's actually so old that I haven't even upload anything of him when I opened my deviantART account!

One of my first male OCs: Kenshiro.

Who was the second protagonist of a dumped story/manga that I worked on with a friend of mine. For many many years actually.

We were highly influenced by One Piece and Sailor Moon back then (magical girl series in general) and made a weird mixture of those elements:

A long journey around several worlds, a team with diverse characters and magical powers with a great prophecy.

But Kenshiro got kinda popular around my friends for him being a pretty boy. I used him more often outside his original story and put him into many random stuff - especially shippy stuff, haha!

Time went on and we grew out of some interests, freetime got less and we slowly realized how trashy the whole thing actually was!

And when I think back it kinda makes me sad how he ended up forgotten and how his story was never told. And it actually never will.

But he played a really big part in my early teenage years and was the first character that felt like my whole pride.

I had him way before Tyro was even born, before I even started to draw digitally, let alone publishing it online.

That's why I'll bring him back. Not as the Kenshiro he was supposed to be, but a different one, while kinda staying the same.

The panther of the Madame is Kenshiro after all. He was named after him and was supposed to resemble him as well.

So why not giving him his human form too?

However, neither his human nor animal form would be his "true shape". Both of them are his very own and non is superior to the other.

If there would be a ranking within the Madame's companions, Kenshi would be directly under her as most powerful and mighty.

When the Madame leaves her home, Kenshiro is the one having full control over her mansion/dimension - one of her greatest powers.

You could compare him to Maximilien, The First of the Mistress . Tho just by his status, not by his "purpose" and tasks.

To the outside Kenshiro will appear as one of her guardians and companions, just someone who knows her better than anyone else.

But in reality they both have a very special relationship to each other. A relationship that I cannot reveal here. It is probably one of her greatest secrets.

Let's just say that it is very intimate beyond bodies and their understanding reaches deeper than just "knowing each other well".

They are not lovers, not even close. Probably not even sexual.

To his design, it's not fully set yet.

I do know that I want to keep it simple and tame because after all, he's an animal and libertin who feels comfortable in his own skin.

The necklace and piercing are resembles of his former life - a life that isn't his official past. He never lived through the story that he was written for, while he kinda did... it's complicated!

For the dark arms and legs.. I wanted to show his inhuman side while also reminding of his former powers.

He probably just shifts back and forth between panther and human whenever he feels like it, maybe staying a panther around strangers to keep it unpersonal.

While both of his forms are his own, I think that his human shape feels more intimate and personal. He often prefers to stay as a watcher and listener that people wouldn't pay attention to.

I'm not sure if he would be a constant companion of her, probably yes.

But on the other hand he would have the responibility of her mansion when she is not home.

His new role is pretty much set. His new look and powers not so much.

Still a little roadwork~

But anyway, I'm glad to have him back

And I hope you like him too!
