Description Yes, before anyone yells at me:
I have no problem with Yaoi, I actually like it.
But... is it just me or do Hetero couples become "unnormal"?

No matter if Anime, TV shows, Games or even YouTubers,
the guys will always get shipped together in a heartbeat.
But why does it always have to be the guys who should be in a relationship?

Let's take an anime for example, with a guy as the protagonist.
A female character would only be shipped with him if a deep admiration is clearly shown or if their friendship is very close.
But a male character wouldn't even have to like him to get shipped with him.

And I have to say, I'm pretty tired of only finding yaoi pics when I'm searching for any tv show.
Just at the beginning, I hated yaoi (which was caused by finding couple pics of my favorite characters...)
Then after some time I thought "well, it really is kinda cute and hot as well"
And now, sometimes I just think "oh, not again..."
Everything is shoving it down my throat, no matter what fandom.
No matter if their are friends, acquaintances, enemies or if they even know each other.
But hetero couples? Nah, boring! Too normal! Ew! They don't match together!

I have to admit, I'm someone who also loves some eye candy here and there.
But... I don't put it too serious at all, because I know "Normally they would never do this".
And if it even happens with my own characters, I quit.
"I don't care if he could match with him, he will come together with her!"

And yes, I KNOW there aren't just crazy and immature fangirls and it's not ALWAYS like this.
But this is just my opinion and a way I see it.

This is free to use!

I haven't met a yaoi fangirl that hates hetero pairings, but I know some pretty idiotic ones that demean lesbian pairings in real life. T-T

Most sane fangirls I've seen are online. All of the ones I met in real life are retards except for my cousin..

For me it's quite the opposite xD I've met lots of fangirls online who almost despise hetero pairings because it's "too boring". To the point where they're hating on females in the shows who were meant to be the canon love interest.
I mean, for each their own. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop them from shipping what they want to ship. But sometimes it makes be sigh when two guys are "forcefully" shipped or the female gets genderbend just for the sake of being a gay pairing, as if gender is all that matters.

I never understood that logic myself either. One of the yaoi fangirls in my class even wished that her gay crush is bi. "CA'T HE BE BI?!"

I was thinking like, "You like soaking your panties to guys who topple on each other (sword-fighting, if you know what I mean), so eat it if your crush is gay, because HE WILL NEVER LOVE YOU!" XDDDDDDD

I agree with you. I personally dislike most yaoi/yuri non canon ships, mainly because the characters really don't work.

And then when is ee people shipping Thor and Loki, I go Hulk on them.

Yea agree. I mean, like I said, there's nothing wrong with a little eye candy and I won't tell people what not to ship. But waving their "x&y ship pride!"- in my face or telling me that a hetero ship succs because it's hetero is just stupid

I agree with you about it being hard to find boyxgirl pairings, but yaoi isn't really my thing, and neither is yuri. I prefer heater actually. Please don't take any offense of this, because I'm just stating my opinion. I have absolutely no problem with those who *do* like it, mind you, and I have absolutely no problem with homosexual people. If that's the way they are, then that's the way they are. More power to them. The thing is I'm uncomfortable seeing two guys or two girls in a romantic relationship, which is why whenever I ship, it's always hetero
