Holy cow, this is absolutely stunning! It looks good enough to be official artwork of the game.
The water-levels were one of my favorites as a kid. I remember running to the portal and laughing as Crash fell flat on his face and Coco jumped in instead. It would have been interesting to see Crash riding a boat (sea-doo?) like that.

I liked the water levels too as a kid, but I was really bad at them. A friend had to help me with the time trials because I couldn't do it myself

Oh I remember those! Those levels were my absolute favorite of all time! I would always try to do tricky things though, like jumping over the barrels and the guard people or I'd jump a little too high and smack into the walls when you had to jump onto the springboard to get up to the other story where the goods were hidden.
