thank you, you can search on youtube for 'gradient nails' tutorials
This is how I applied:
- first I apply a base coat
- A coat of the darkest color (red) (preferably a opaque, creme color, if not then apply 2 coats) onto 1/3rd from the tip of my nails
- Then the second color, 1 coat of a midtone color from the same range (orangy coral) on top of the red down to 2/3 of my nails
- Apply the last color (sheer, shimmer, glittery buildable color) a coat down to 3/4 of my nails, then another coat down to 4/5 of my nails, but not all the way down to the cuticle
I hope it helps. Many ppl apply with a sponge but I find using the nail polish brush works just fine
You can try all sorts of colors too, I did my nails last week in glittery gradient purplish pink and it looks great, I'll take more pictures next time
