Description ......... Finally..... - -|||
Among all of my anime-styled drawings, this took me the longest time to finish....
There are many hiatuses during the process of making the drawing.
I spent lots of time on the details and kept on changing them....over and over again....
And I'm still not satisfied with it in the end.
But I decide to submit it anyway, because if I don't, I would continue fixing the drawing and never "finish" it... It's not very healthy... Something has to be released... Something has to be done...

I really don't like how it turns out to be. There are so many flaws.
I screwed up the drawing at the beginning.
The composition is ruined; the whole thing is too crowded, and there are some proportion and space problems. (I want to kill myself...... - -|||)
I used lots of white-out to fix the details (and I wasn't supposed to use any... - -|||).

While I was drawing it, sometimes I felt that I wanted to throw up or felt kind of hard to breathe, because I focused on the drawing too much and tried to make it perfect but it never would be....
And the drawing doesn't look like something that has been spent lots of time on; its final version is NOT that good and impressive.
I guess I'm disappointed... but I do need to move on and start other drawings.

This drawing is actually the result of my recent obsession with fashion, J-rock, and Gothic Lolita...
I spent a lot of time thinking about their clothing (I know they look weird...).
I did a few other drawings of these six characters before, and I kinda wanted to do a series of drawings on them because I was thinking about a story which involves these characters.

Note: All of them are guys except for the one with boobs (.....I guess it's not necessary to mention it...)

Very nice. I don't think the spacing is bad either. Makes for a nice composition pic over all. I dunno how I could have missed this earlier. Anyway, it's really nice ^_^ You pretty much already pointed out what you have to work on, so I don't need to say anything much. Although.. you are rather hard on yourself. Goodness knows your proportions are a whole league better then mine are. ::laughs::

This would be a nice manipulation photo for later on. o.o You know? Like.. I can see this drawing as an old photo of some story. If you play around with photodop or something, that could easily be done too! ^_^

But seriously, the composition in this drawing is really bothering me. If I had the chance to go back and do the drawing again, I would definitely fix the composition and the body proportions of the characters.

WOW XIU MAN~ so amazing.....your talent (and perfectionist-attitude ) spills out from this artwork....

your work impresses me more due to the fact that it is in pen, not pencil, in other words, minimal allowance of mistakes, i can't even see where you used white-out, maybe because you never used it much

im absolutely loving the texture and detail of the hair and clothing~~~~ yeah xiu man

(maybe we cosplay your characters next AN )

this work has got me motivated to pick up my pencil again and start scribbling/sketching

I actually drew it in pencil first and then I used pens, but I still used lots of white-out though... and white-out made it look ugly and unnatural so I had to fix it a little bit in the computer... >_< (Maybe next time I should do the whole thing in computer....)

no no, drawing by hand is what makes this artwork even better, since it really shows talent/skill of your hand/eye and it's more natural
this work is responsible for making me pick up my sketchbook/pencil again....i need to practise more and more and more and more (and more and more...)
