week 20 of the . theme was to draw a pony solving a mystery.

(uuuuuuugh the title i know i know)

sooo this week I tried a couple things differently. I focussed just on drawing the faces, as not only is that A SUPER EASY SHORTCUT AND EXCUSE OH MAN but it went with the kinda style I wanted to try, this kinda sketchy comicy style I see sometimes where it's just upper portions of characters talking in such a way. Also, I tried the grey outline rather than outlining everything in specific colors like the show (which I think turned out well) which was originally just a pathetic attempt to halfway-sorta-kinda-not-really do something vaguely newbie-ishly John Joseco-like, and lastly I colored with this watercolor tool because... because it just seemed to fit.

Overall, I think I did alright, not that there aren't a million things I know I could improve upon.

Oh also no background because it goes with the style even though all these things probably seem more like shortcuts than anything~~~~~~ at least it's something that doesn't look like all the rest of my stuff for once!!!

but yeah "dun't" is how I figure that "du-unt" word that Southern folk (don't bite me, i'm southern too) tend to use in place of "doesn't" is spelled.

And Braeburn loves his moustache
