Inspired by the old codices from the Aztec Empire.The man with the blue head gear is Moctezuma II, who ruled the Aztec Empire when CortΓ©s arrived in 1519. He summoned a genie to ask for help or advice, maybe against the spaniards.

I did the drawing after figures from an actual Mexica codex. I was rather thinking of her as a spirit (Jinn) Moctezuma asks for advice about how to react to the Spaniards.
