One year after my drawing of Martha, I finally do a "realistic" drawing of my OC Amelia Maus. If it is possible to do a realistic drawing of a girl with so prominent features of a mouse. This was by far the most difficult drawing of my realistic portraits. On the one hand, I couldn't make her mousey features look too cartooney, on the other hand, they should be clearly visible.
I took several references, especially from pictures of the actress Christine Barinski, who has a very promintent, yet human nose. For Amelia's ear, I decided to use a large, but still normal sized ear, but I made the rim and the contours thin and fragile like a mouse's. Her teeth are not as prominent as in the comic pictures, but she has a clear overbite.
