Saffy sighed, they had reached the sunrise of the third day. "Two more to do this." She yawned quietly, 'talking to herself' had become quite the habit recently in an ironic effort to keep sane through the thorough isolation. Despite having been riding a few hours the sunlight stung both her and Vemod's eyes, lifting a hand and shutting her eyes temporarily. Having been following a river for the past couple of miles and just passed into some trees. Her attention would be caught by a set of rather strange looking creatures. They appeared deer-like in appearance but had long elongated tails and strange colours. The tokota, however, appearing unphased as he trots along without a care in the world. Saffy rubbed her eyes a bit more, grumbling to herself "It's only been two days, Saff. Keep yourself together." She'd hiss, she could have sworn the two strange deer were laughing at her as she clicked her tongue. Digging her heels once more into her tokota's sides in a bid to make him go faster. The male letting out a low 'huff' in response, obviously not too keen on the excess effort after the last two days. Certainly they'd covered a lot of ground and they could afford to lose some time, but Saffy had other ideas. Leaving the strange deer behind they continued onto their journey.
