...permanently a ghost.The scenario for this would be if Danny died in human form, for whatever reason. The ghost would still be there, and he'd continue his afterlife.

this begs the question of whether or not damage in ghost form overlaps onto his human side and when he heals is there a distinction between them?
so can he even die like humans do?

Danny found him self enjoying one of the few nights where the ghosts stayed in the Ghostzone. Even so he still felt the need to just fly, get rid of stress and release some of the burdens he held. He flew for several minutes until he was over the park, some time before his friends has went to bed, but he didn't care he love the serenity of the darkened landscape below him. he hovered a few moments before shooting high into the clouds. he loved the rush of the air as it brushed his cheeks, his hair waved like a banner. He smiled. but his smile was replaced by a blinding flash of light.
KABOOM!
A loud crack of thunder sounded through the dead night air, Scarring Sam Manson out of her bed. She sighed, "it was only a dream" she said to herself moving her hand through her hair. she got up and moved to her window. A few drops of rain spattered it. She looked in the direction of the park, her mind wondered as she looked up to the clouds.... She gasped as she placed her hand on her mouth. Even from this distance she could see it. It world have been hard to see if it wasn't for the two rings of light that flashed. She couldn't find her breath. As it neared the ground she preyed that the rings would light up again. but they didn't and a muffled thump was heard as the floor shuddered beneath her. "nooo," was all she could say before falling to her knees in a quiet sob.
"Ow. My head," A young ghost grunted through gritted teeth. He pushed himself from the ground. "What happened? why am I on the ground? Why dose my hand feel warm..." he looked down at his hand. Red, a lot of red, to much red. He paled, his vision glided to the lifeless figure from which the red was coming from. It's neck twisted in an unnatural position, bone shown through its arms. "who-who is this?" he whispered as he touched the lifeless face. His neon green eyes gave the surrounding trees an eerie glow. he looked around, confused. He knew that this boy was important but he didn't know why... his head throbbed as tried to remember who this boy was. but his concentration failed and he began to loose interest in the boy. He floated back as a portal opened in front of him. He shrank in fear as a massive beast with fur stepped out. The beast took notice of him and offered him a hand. "Come on, your confused but do not be alarmed I am a friend." He didn't know why but he trusted it. The two went through the portal as it closed.Β
Β Four days later:
TV news reporter: This morning at around 9:AM the body of Danny Fenton was found after nearly four days missing. The cause of death is still being determined. though it appears that he died due to falling from a large distance. Danny Fenton went missing around the same time as the ghost outlaw was last seen, witch is hiving many asking, what if Danny's death is the beginning for a gho- the screen smashed as a remote hit it. Vlad Masters's fists shook with anger. 'That stupid boy...' he thought to himself. 'You survived everything that ghosts could throw to you and you die because you fall?' His eyes crunched as he fought back tears, "You were too young... "

it wouldn't be that tragic if Danny died because i think that he'd just become a full ghost. He'd still stick around to be by Sam and Tucker's side which would work because they already know about his ghost form (Jazz too for that matter.) i could see Danny not understanding why Sam and Tucker are crying because he's right there and when he finds out he's dead (his human side anyway) he'd promise that he's not going anywhere a and that dead or alive he's not leaving them.Β Β The only real sad thing is that he wouldn't be able to see his parents again because they don't know about his ghost form (and because he doesn't want to be experimented on, who experiments on their own son, even if he is a ghost/part ghost.) i have a theory that Danny did die (the shock after pushing the button may have very well stopped his heart) and became a ghost and entered the ghost zone but somehow came back to life and his ghost form and powers are a side effect or only half of him is alive but the other half is still dead/ghost.

If Danny is a full ghost now, doesn't that mean that he'd get his own door/room/home in the Ghost Zone? I wonder what it would look like.
(Probably filled with space things and those glow in the dark star stickers that you stick on the wall. XD)

Yeah. He wanted to be an astronaut. So it probably has stuff like toy aliens, glow-in-the-dark star stickers on the walls and a hanging planet mobile. You know toy aliens are cool. A hanging planet mobile would be pretty cool. Toy xenomorph and predator from Alien and Predator in that respective order. Maybe there's a Deoxys stuffed toy. By the way, Deoxys is an alien PokΓ©mon. It's entry says it came from another planet. It's a psychic type, not a ghost type. Maybe there's a few toy rocket ship things. Ghost PokΓ©mon adds insult to injury. So yeah. Also as a ghost, he'll stay young forever and never grow old. If you're dead, you don't have to worry about aging. You can stay young forever and have fun doing whatever you want. You can eat all the candy you want and not gain weight. Ghosts can't get diabetes. Marshmallow Peeps. All the candy you could want. It's like Halloween everyday. So cool.

Knowing Danny, he wouldn't look bad and see his dead human body, so he would just think he's stuck in ghost mode for weeks until he learns through Sam and Tucker that Daniel Fenton's funeral is this weekend, which none of them knew.
This would make a great starting chapter to a story about how Danny learns what it means to be a ghost and making his own place in the Ghost Zone. Maybe he goes to live with Dorothea Mattingly for a while and becomes her Knight-Champion and eventually ascends to the new King of the Ghost Zone after his second battle with Pariah Dark. Gripping story and you already got the book cover.

Kind of like an idea i have where Danny becomes leader/king of the ghost world/underworld (like Hades or Osiris) and Sam would be his queen and Tucker is right-hand man (i don't know how humans could enter the ghost zone, Sam and Tucker traveled in one of Danny's parents inventions once looking for Danny once though so maybe they could invent some sort of suit for both Sam and Tucker so they can survive in the ghost zone. Jazz would probably have some position to help her brother Danny and his friends as well. They could create a sort of mib type agency where they help integrate the good, peaceful ghosts while helping the living world accept them and also protect the living world against evil, harmful ghosts by fighting them and giving the world ways to protect themselves from evil ghosts (and even get he good ghosts to fight as well.) For my idea, Danny would still be part human, part ghost though.
