They not only are armed with an underside machine gun for point defense, but also a howitzer and an automatic grenade launcher for multiple, heavy or long-range targets. Also complete with limited energy shielding.

It's bound to have a less powerful energy source than, say a Mobile Suit. Much smaller explosion than when a certain Spartan threw a plas grenade into the main intakes.
