Have you ever seen "Mia and Me"?
It's a TV show, where there are some human characters and CG ones. Mia, the main character (played by Rosabell Laurenti-Sellers) is a student at the International Boarding school in Firenze; she's got a special bracelet that can change her into an Elf and send her to Centopia, a magic place she knows from a story book given her by her Dad, before he died.
She's alone in the world, but this magic gift and the Centopia book give her the power to live in two different worlds; when she's in Centopia, time flows differently.
Centopia is the Kingdom of Elves, Unicorns, Pans, Dragons and all sorta of funny and weird beings.
It's a kid show, but the CG sections are very good. All Elf costume patterns are inspired by Klimt's art.
There are two seasons of "Mia and Me", translated in French, German and Italian: in spite of the location, the main language is English.
Sometimes Italian translation contain some mistakes, but the show is good, never boring.

Once one asked me what is her name. I thought a bit about it, and I gave her this name: Harìn Edmea.

There are two seasons. They are both about a research of some important objects: in the first one Mia and her Elf Friends (Yuko the warrior and Mo the prince of Centopia) search a particular musical instrument called "trumptus", that can defeat Dark Elf Queen Panthea and her minions, the Munculus; this trumptus has been destroyed by its own creator, the Pan called Phuddle.
In the second one, Yuko, Mo and Mia have got to find a crown for their unicorn friend Onchao, a very young unicorn who has got wings and his horn is made of pure gold; Onchao wants to find where is his father, the one who gave him the wings, and he will be able to defeat Rixel, a fat Elf who owns a circus and wants to become a Dark Elf. And wants to make Onchao one of his enslaved creatures.

In this parallel worlds Mia lives two different lives; there are some adventures even in the real world. Her bracelet makes her able to travel the two different dimensions; she can't be in both places, so this can be a problem when someone in the real world searches for her.

I put a link to one of my first drawings about Centopia. To tell you the truth, that old one is better then this new one. But it's a matter of different inspirations.

Well, this is more like the style of the show.

The best episodes of the second series are the one when another girl, not aware about it, follows Mia in Centopia; no one is supposed to go there, but Mia.

It would be funny to see the Elf version of all the characters: they change some features as colors, hair and dress. And, as Elves, they have pointed ears and insect-like wings. So when this girl meets Mia, they don't reckognize each other.

When an Elf flies, his or her wings sprout sparks.
