i made this awhile ago but i wanted to put this here so i could have all of the information in one spot

twilight
- k so this blurb will start off with celestia hear me out
- there’s at *least* 1000 years unaccounted for in history, and likely much more considering luna was full grown in a flashback to the first encounter with discord. i like to imagine celestia was a lot more ruthless to other species/civilizations before she fought luna, only softening up and becoming the motherly ruler we know her as after having to banish her sister
- we’ve also only seen maybe a dozen other cultures in the show, if that??? it makes total sense to see that maybe there’s some civilization that’s still pissed off at her for something
- and a transfer of power makes total sense for a time to attack bc everyone’s just happy and not expecting it
- so in a failed assassination attempt, twilight loses her horn. it’s broken beyond repair. celestia returns to rule under twilights name, saying she’ll return when she feels well enough, but they’re not so sure that’ll be the case anymore.
- this was originally gonna be her wings, like “clipping a birds wings” but i mean? she was born without them, and who knows. maybe they can be remade? a horn however, cannot be remade and it defines who twilight is so this is much more drastic
- the youngest, 19 at the beginning of the show and 26 currently, tho physically like 21???? never got the transfer of powers so she’s still her natural height
- speaking about height, she’s a little under average

rainbow dash:
- became one of the best wonderbolts there ever was, but dropped it like a hot potato when twilight was attacked.
- instead she trained with the royal guard and became a body guard for her best friend
- one of the most concerned about twilights wellbeing
- twilights gf!
- currently 29
- slightly shorter than twilight, also under average

rarity:
- continues with her multiple shops in different cities
- raises sweetie belle as her legal guardian
- tries to drop in often with gifts or sweets for twilight to brighten her day
- currently 30
- ajs gf!
- the tallest and most elegant with her long unicorn tail and fetlocks. pretty above average in terms of height, and the tallest of the main cast

pinkie pie:
- takes over sugar cube corner after the cake twins get a little older and the cakes want to focus on their children. they obviously still help out, but pinkie reassured them that they don’t have to worry
- marries cheese sandwich <3
- has a kid, NOT lil cheese but i need to make them but i’m awful at next gen stuff
- currently 29
- the shortest of the main cast! also extremely fluffy. a tad chubby as well, but what can you expect? sis works in a bakery
- almost made her a pegasus

apple jack:
- takes over the farm after granny smith dies - i know big mac is older but he’s much more shy than apple jack is, so he happily lets her take over running the farm
- a lot of people head canon her as the tallest but,,, i like to imagine her mother (pear butter, but buttercup is a lot cuter) as pretty short and slim for an earth pony. applejacks a little above average in height and pretty fucking sturdy, but she’s not the tallest
- raritys gf!
- currently 31

fluttershy:
- continues working as a veterinarian! started a shelter— non-wild animals are available for adoption (through in depth background checks)
- wild animals that cannot return to the wild stay on the sanctuary tho where they basically have free reign
- unofficially married to discord
- cuts her hair bc it’s in her way
- currently 28!
- also a tad under average, i think about the same height as rainbow? has rlly fucking thin legs
