Swanky---Gym leader, Togepi (don\'t ask)
Candy---Gym leader, Blossom
Chunky---Trainer, Jumpluff

I still haven\'t decided whether or not to make Cranky and Wrinkly one of those pairs where they both are gym leaders for the same gym or seperate ones. And the reason Cranky has no beard is because there wasn\'t an option.

i can see a huge cross over game already, like every game *like in smash bros* their world becomes one, and everyone has a choice on what they want to be, and in this case because of a dangerous thing happening, Dk and co must become trainners and battle against the kremlings.

Well they're husband and wife...so they should share the same gym...but in away i can see cranky helping the pokemon professors out and stuff and be the one to help provide starter pokemon...but maybe he could also be a gym leader, and him and wrinkly speacialize in pshyic and ghost types
and the player characters could be DK or didy for a boy and Dixie or another random kong girl(whose dk's age) for a girl. Tiny chunky and Lankey could be the rival characters of dk island and etc.

Cranky was actually going to be the gym leader of the town DK came from (the story actually starts at the fourth or fifth gym, when he meets Diddy, Dixie, and Tiny). Ironically, at one point there was going to be a flashback showing that he actually was a PokΓ©mon Proff but for some reason they (his co-workers) thought his senility would suit him better at a gym.
Candy was going to be the girl, actually. XD Also, wouldn't it be funny if K. Rool were Giovanni?

It's not going to be like in th games where you choose a trainer and use them with the story line (like how in ruby/sapphire if youchoose a girl and rival is Brendan whereas if you were a boy your rival would be May). It's actually more like in the show.
But yeah... Bluster is the rival.

I can see two version of the way he acts. if your dk he acts like a jerk, if your candy he still is one but will flirt with her.

so if it was a game, dk would be the male player and candy would be the female player, but in this case, Dk Candy and Bluster are needed for something, and the pokemon professors and cranky send them on a journey with pokemon and etc. only bluster goes alone and candy and dk travel together and etc.

i'm saying in real life if your comic was an actual cross over game, you can choose between candy or dk as the players like how you can when you choose your gender for a boy and girl in the pokemon games, and then the plot comes in, where dk candy and bluster are needed by cranky and the current 5 pokemon region professors and peach to not only investigate myserious happenings on kongo bongo and the mk and the pokemon world but stop who ever's behind it and at the same time the 3 of them choose different paths to follow (Like gym badge journey and etc.) and bluster (The rival) goes on his own, while you the player and the player you didn't choose (Aka Dk and Candy) travel together and etc. but your main player is the one you choose (So if you were dk for example you would be the one doing the battling, and candy (the one you didn't choose) Was your partner in certain double battles.)
