The full title of this piece is called: La musica Dell'Universale Inconscio (Music of the Universal Unconscious), but Deviant Art would not let me include the full title.

The picture depicts a higher being/mystical alien that exists in a dreamworld or parallel dimension, and communicates through dreams by playing music (or literally creating certain waveforms that can only be accessed by the unconscious mind). Carl Jung talks about a phenomenon called the collective unconscious, the deepest layer of our psyche that contains the past experiences of the universe as a whole...but sometimes I wonder if it was cool if the collective unconscious was an actual "place" that existed in imaginary space or in a parallel dimension. Like some place where the energy from our conscious minds can manifest itself. Maybe it would be a "shadow" realm where our antitheses resided, or an "ideal self" realm where ghosts of the people we wished we were existed.

Anyway, enough rambling, it is 1 AM and I am probably spouting BS. Just look at the pretty picture .....
