Full View, Please A little Naruto fan-art in pencil. Possibly my best work to date? I bloody well hope so, because this took me the whole day to complete.
I think that Kiba would be about 7 here, and Hana close to 16. I'd have to guess that there's a 10 year age-gap between them, as when Kiba is 12 years old during the Konoha invasion Hana looks to be at least 22.
(If you look closely at this and go back to look at “Mood pic- Kiba-Aku-Naru-Sasu” in my gallery you can see that Kiba and Hana have very similar smiles
And I can only assume that the symbol on Kiba's shirt is the Inuzuka Clan crest because I've also seen it tattooed on Hana's arm). Anyway, these characters belong to Kishimoto Masashi-sama. Not mine-oh.
BTW, does anyone know what the hell happened to Kiba's dad?

There are very few art showing the Inuzuka sibs, especially Hana, so it was nice to see this art of a younger Kiba and Hana together.
As for your question, no one knows the status of Kiba and Hana's father. There was no mention in canon (manga and anime) whether he is alive, dead, or what. It makes sense that he would have been alive before Kiba was born, given obvious without him, Kiba wouldn't have been born.
So as far as their dad is concern, it's up to you whether he is alive or not.
For me, it's likely he is dead, given a good number of Konoha shinobi died during the Kyuubi attack, so he could have died then.

And thanks for the heads up on Kiba's dad(or his lack thereof). Even though I'm up to date on the manga (more or less) I havn't been able to read any chapters before Orochimaru's attack on Konoha, so I wasn't sure how much of Kiba's (or anyone else's) history I had missed out on.
And it does indeed make sence that his father would have died in the Kyuubi attack. But, if it's not in the manga then only Kishimoto-san knows.

Inuzuka is also Tsume's last name. Hana and Kiba have there mother's last name.

Kiba's mother scared the father off. Kiba said this in Naruto: Shippuuden chapter 429, page 8.
