Something totally random. It wasn't supposed to end up like this, but, well, it did. xD You've probably also seen anime characters resembling or being themed by things like operating systems or browsers. I decided to make this one about a search engine we all know. Google!
I think it's kinda fitting that Google is an elf girl, doing magic on the searches. 
The ears are a bit high, I guess, and the eyes look kinda messy with the hair over them, but then again, I didn't really even ink the pic. Just cleaned the lines a bit and coloured it as it was.
You might also notice a tiny difference in colouring, compared to my usual stuff. I tried harder edges and contrasts. Feel free to let me know if you like it or not. I might colour some more pics in same way if it seems alright with most of you.
I'm fine either way, just experimenting a bit.This is a wallpaper image. Available sizes 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x960 can be found at my website's gallery in a short moment, after I've got them uploaded.

im a lil disappointed its not on photoshop though =[ because i started experimenting with some line art to get that smooth look, but all the brushes are too detailed, except for vectors, which take too damn long ><

openCanvas is basically a stripped down version of photoshop, with emphasis on sketching and colouring, so you don't need to configure it much. A drawing tablet is a must-have with it though, to get everything out of it.
