Are these studies done on your free time or was it school work? Β I'm trying to push myself to do these studies but I always have a hard time finding the motivation unless it was a school assignment.. =w= Β Either way they're nice!

I guess studies are fun when you do it for yourself and not to be scrutinized by classmates and teachers andΒ I remember in my fine art classes I had to work with charcoal and oil pastels *shudder*Β

To be honest, not a lot of people liked fine art class so we weren't do their best either.

omg when I saw those bottles on instagram I was like HOW!? They look AMAZING!!!!!! *rolls around on the floor in my dinosaur kigurumi* I never really want to do realistic stuff or draw from life, but like I said earlier, whenever I see you doing new stuff or things from your classes I'm like "That looks so FUN!" and I want to do the same thing... You just make boring things look fun....Β

out of these three media, which is your favorite to use? how is using gouache different than working with watercolors? I've only used watercolors... but i'm wondering if i should play with gouache too. c:

HJeojeo In reply to skudges [2014-10-07 21:03:29 +0000 UTC]
hmmm I'm not sure
I guess it would depend on the day, some days I just wanna do inks
somedays I wanna do watercolors
and now that I've discovered gouache, I'm gonna feel for this too lmaoo xD
gouache is different in that
watercolor is transparant
and gouache is opaque. but other than that, you use gouache as if you're doing watercolors
but other than that, yer gonna have to ask some art proff or something to explain to you xD hope that helps
