 Path One

Crypts of the Old World

In the absence of magic the Ruins of the Old World are lifeless, desolate tombs. The mighty machines that once had fed greedily on the Guardian's gifts have ceased with time; their metal bodies crumbling, disfiguring and twisting into frail skeletons plagued with rust. Those few that preserved well have been ravaged by Raiders, taken as prizes, ornaments and family heirlooms, or melted down and made new. To the people of Moren Ezen, much of what remains is of little interest – naught but nameless, decaying constructs, their purpose lost since the time of the Cataclysm, now valueless and obsole

Sketchiest little cartoon thing ever. I'm losing my ability to simplify the more I go without regular practice :[ BUT I LIKE THIS
Moren-Ezen's summer event looks fun and I think horses are going to be a staple for me in the near future. While I still figure out the equine anatomy I'm going to try to train in a simpler style that's more streamlined to draw.

Aaaah this is lovely! The anatomy of the horse is impeccable, but what I really love is how the rider is actually in position and not just flopping there like a rag doll. And the tack is correct too?! I love it when people actually take the time to learn about more than just the horse's anatomy. Do you ride? Because this level of accuracy is just amazing!

Thank you! I actually really appreciate that it's noticed! I try to keep things at least semi-realistic.
I've had horses since I was young and worked at a dressage barn for about 5 years--so I have had some at least basic training on riding and tack!

So, the horse looks great. Anatomy is spot on.
But the background is what's getting me! I want to watch you create something like this, just so I can imitate your landscape skills!

This is so lovely!! The mood is so soft and...fresh feeling somehow :3

I have the opposite problem, I think - I learned horses first, so now any dog/catish anatomy is WRONG because HOCKS DON'T GO THERE xDDDD
