Description
Never gonna pretend to know what I'm doing with these.Just sometimes I get the urge to take some sketches and see where they go. Also I really wanted an animated icon for Opal
I know I could have made this smoother. Exhausted my drive by not simplifying features and trying to keep her shades and markings true.
Hence why I made this larger than the 50x50 version. Gotta show off what I did my best to keep in there.
Her reaction to pretty much anything is just a blank look like "O".
Unless it concerns protecting Yuka. Then you better fucking run.

This is too adorable. I love the way its drawn as well.Ā
If you wanted a consistent loop of this (looking that the camera then back away), you could put the frames in there in reverse, then loop it. Like:
1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1

I considered it, and tried that out, but it jumped in an odd way so I opted to just stop it after the turn.
I might doctor up the layers so they flow that way later though. Thank you for the advice

I must coach you on easing; there are ways to do smoother things without adding a ton of frames.
Really nice consistency, though!

I've got a pretty reputable animation book I flip through sometimes. That's done wonders for me!Ā
But I couldn't hold my own in a conversation with an actual animator, if that makes sense xDĀ

Naw, that makes perfect sense. You gotta start somewhere and its good that you have a book having directions and different examples to look at part by part is super helpful
