I don't think it makes a difference on the quality of the program for the most part.

I see. I haven't used SAI for awhile, but i guess it's better to use than FireAlpaca, which is the program i use.

I think the best aid to artwork is familiarity with your program so that you can best utilize it.
I've been using SAI for years so it comes easily for me. I've tried FireAlpaca and it's got lovely line quality, but I can't do anything with it because I don't know it well enough. And I was too lazy to learn xDD
