Description
Recently I wanted to teach myself how to use Autodesk SketchBook. I started by making four small documents focusing on some basic principles and techniques in art. I am not great at using it yet, but I learned a lot about this software’s capabilities and intend to try more in the future. Most of this was created using the capture and fill functions on the SketchBook toolbar. The fill function also has an ombré setting that fades in a linear or radial pattern for shading a cylinder or sphere respectively. The ruler tool was used to get the perfectly straight lines as well as the circles and arcs (the arc setting on the ruler). The pen and ink section was done using standard drawing techniques with a stylus and a variety of drawing tools.
Feel free to download and use this PDF as a reference for noncommercial, educational purposes. Also, if anyone wants these to be uploaded as four individual files, please feel free to leave a comment expressing that. Happy drawing!
