Artist Comments:
Well this is offically Disani. She took FOREVER to make! I came up with the design by printing off four sheets of horse identification papers, you know the ones with side veiws, their face, and leg markings? Well I made four different designs, picked my favorited and created sketches of the line arts that i wished to use for her ref. I got the idea of the face and legs and body positions off of the identification sheets, howver i repositioned her main body image. Why? I wanted to show some of her character in it, show that she had an inner playfullness about her. As for the color of eye, well I wanted it to be realistic, but not just plain brown, so why not a light brown? I went out to look at my horses eyes, and the sun was reflecting in it, turning it amber. So now her eyes are Amber colored Her leg markngs came mainly from my imagination, though they arn't really all that unique. Several horses, have kiger stripeing like that.

I had much trouble with her mane and tail, not good at coloring them in line art style yet :S so I pretty much got tired of trying, I ended up redoing the tail 7+ times, got sick of it and just used brushes.

Stats: From first glance the young mare appears to be a normal mustang living out her life freely, wild and untamed. Her coat is nothing unique. She is a common buckskin color. Three Kiger like dark brown stripes are around the upper half of all four of her legs. The lower half of her pillars are the same shade of brown, the coloring pattern that of a buckskin. Dark brown pillars lead into four coal black hooves. The rest of her body is predictable. Golden body color, black mane and tail just like all buckskins. Her face is also none other than normal. A white blaze runs down her face starting between the eyes. Her nose is dark brown as well. Her past is nothing but ordinary too. She was born and raised by her parents until she was old enough to move on. The only thing that puts an expression of awe on others’ faces is her distinct personality. Disani is shy and timid, easily scared unlike her outgoing sister Natasha. She hides her amber orbs behind her ebony forelock, not letting others see them, for they show her past clearly. She has the same amber orbs as her sister, her whole birth herd carries the gene and only that one herd is known to have it. Disani is nice after you get her opened up, though she is very hard to open. She mainly keeps to herself and is rather jumpy and skittish mare. Her flight instincts are more prominent than most. She doesn’t go looking for friends or love, she merely allows it to find her and waits until if just about smacks her in the face before she does anything about it.

Awakening from underneath the willow, she streched her fron pillars out in front of her, stabling herself. She grunted with effort as she stood on her shakey pillars still groggy. Sighing as she remembered she had stumbled upon a herd, she knew she was tresspassing, she hoped none of the leads were around, she would be in and out, before anyone even knew. Sighing, she lifted her pillars as she covered the few feet that lay between her and the river slowly. Bending her nape she broke the waters surface with her maw. Gulping down water by the gallon, she filled her thirst. Finishing and lifting her nape she gazed at her reflection. Her very own amber orbs peered back at her. They were the color of the sun glistening off regular brown orbs, but it never went away, the sun, it remained there in her eyes, ever since she was born. Falling down her golden face was her ebony forlock, it alwasy hung their, shielding her orbs from the common eye, relising she was alone she flicked it away, getting a better picture of herself. Her golden bodice was tone and well muscled from her long travles. Kiger like markings were embeaded upon her pillars. Three on each leg, right before they turned dark as the headed down into her black hooves. She was breath taking, you couldn't deny it, though sometimes she could truely be a mess. Unlike other horses, she didn't care as much about appearance, not as much as she cared about what was on the inside. Her mane often lie matted upon her neck and her tail was often filled with cockler burns and random twigs. She sighed heavily, trying to figure out what to do. She had been searching for how long? She couldn't even remember herself. She sighed as she looked up from the water. Her gaze drifted off to the forest, thats where she should be, hiding from this new herd, trying to stay away, stay out of trouble.
