Long before the episode "City of Clipsville" presented the image of the Powerpuff Girls as older girls there were a few of us fanartists who drew them as teens and adults. I tried it myself early on with this first pic of Buttercup in a bikini breaking hearts down at the beach.Related content

Never understood how they picked things up with only flippers. Seems like they would grow hands or, from a random thought I had earlier, that they had some insect characteristics (bigs eyes for one) and went through some sort of metamorphasis or evolution, emerging as more human-like beings with at least fingers and toes.

I like the art and the killer attitude Buttercup has too. Strong, confident and forward but not to forward, still a lady. Oh yes, little monster killing attitude Buttercup grew up into a man killer attitude Buttercup ... still a killer, just different type, makes sense to me.

I like the idea of keeping their heads very similar to their earlier forms, that along with the end of their arms staying the same way also. Just makes more sense to me that they would. Very nicely done, Dude!
