Story

A few days had passed since Giza had given birth to a healthy young cub. And as the days went on, Salim and his mate noticed something very unique to this young cub. The moment he opened his eyes for the first time, they were both shocked. He had eyes the color of the snow. At first, Salim was convinced that his Giza had had relations with another male. A male of the Ice Lands.

"Those eyes do not match any of those in my family, nor my ancestors. There have had to be someone else." Salim accused, glaring at Giza with hurt eyes. She shook her head frantically. "No! No, Salim, No! Of course not! I would never betray you like that!" Giza cried. "Then how do you explain his eye color?" He snapped, causing her to flinch and look up at him with terrified eyes. He looked down at her for several long seconds before sighing. "Giza... Tell me honestly... Was there someone else?" He asked softly. She immediately shook her head. "No. I swear to you, I did not interact with any other males." She whispered. He slowly sighed and looked down at Fannar. The tiny cub looked up at him and let out a soft mew, his Ice blue eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Salim looked down at the cub for several seconds before slowly laying down in front of Giza. "I believe you, Giza." He said, looking up at his mate. "I would never hurt you like that, Salim. You are my one and only. My other half. I... I haven't seen any cubs with eyes similar to his. Let alone any males. Fannar is..." She tried to find the right word before Salim finished for her. "Special." He smiled.
