Lol, while I was drawing this people kept asking what on earth was in Cactus's mouth. Well, I somehow developed this small little adventure in my head while I was sketching the line art out, so I suppose I should explain myself. Cactus, Pen, and Flora happened to be traveling through hostile lands, and Cactus somehow managed to convince Pen (but not Flora, she was against the whole thing) to help him steal the Native's giant emerald necklace. And they did. But the Natives noticed, and they chased the trio off this cliff trying to get their Emerald back. Not sure what happened to those Natives, but Cactus saved the emerald, Pen saved Cactus at Flora's expense, and Flora is probably going to end up making all three of them fall.
This is the first time I've tried my hand at drawing other people's characters on this site. I have to just say, though, it was really fun to draw these three!

There are some delusional people who don't. But some of those delusional people will wake up one morning and find that they want to watch it. O.O Lol, that actually happened to one of my friends. She looked up a picture of Zim when I told her what it was and thought he was creepy, and then when I bought the episodes off of iTunes she decided to give it a try and now she wants to marry his evil laugh and she thinks he's cute. XDDDDDDD

I found Zim through another drawing site. It was a tutorial on how to draw GIR. I was like, "Who is GIR? And why is this tutorial so popular?" So I searched it up, watched some IZ and loved it
I do admit I was an annoying GIR fantard for awhile though...

XDDD Like, not date cute. Like hamster cute. Especially in the shot of him looking up at the tallest in the opening theme.
Lol, the first thing I saw that was IZ was the scene where Zim finds the bacon in the soap. Someone linked me and I thought GIR was kinda funny in that. When I actually started watching the show, I became a fan of Zim and Dib. I love their enemyship!

I've always found the people who wanted to kiss Zim or Dib creepy 
it's a cartoon, and fangirls fighting over "who's Zim's real girlfriend" is just weird.
me too, it's funny how Dib loses most of the time. my favorite episode was Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom though. Haha, and at the end Zim just throws a muffin at him. He could have destroyed him right there if he wanted to xD

Yeah, that is creepy. O.O No offense to them. Lol, Zim? A girlfriend? Preposterous, he's an invader, invaders do not 'love!' XDDDDDDD That's a bit of a hypocritical statement coming from me, of course. I dabble a little in ZaGr fanfictions. Reading, not writing mind you. And only ones that are written well.

The medium is actually prismacolor pencils. Lots of people compare them to crayons and pastels, but they're much more manageable, I think. Don't make your hands hurt, and you can erase about 50% of the mark you make with them. I used my eraser in several places in this picture to get some of the colors right. ^^

Ooooh!!! yep I can now see that because I thought crayons were a bit too smearable like wax and this was too nice to be used by crayons. Beautiful job!!! I have prismacolor pencils too and markers but I haven't gotten to trust myself to use them yet. Same with OIL painting.

^^ Thanks again. Yeah, lots of people don't trust themselves with fancy art supplies, but the way I see it, is if you never try you'll probably never come to trust yourself anyway. So you should go for it! I'd start out by just doing small practice drawings/paintings with them.

I've tried them and it is not really my kind of thing. I'm more into black and white with pencils. My favorite artist that does WONDERS with prismacolor markers is Chip Foose. Then in college I made a self identity with my name letter and used prismacolor but it did not come out right. I still have the pencil one which I can always scan it on and use photoshop but I haven't yet. There are a lot of art that I haven't scanned in however there was one art that I enjoyed doing which was a dog I drew with mainly charcoal (hate that thing as it smears a lot) white chalk, color pencil of brown and black for the fur, red/pink for tongue. It was a lot of fun but only because my teacher made me

That sounds awesome! And yeah, charcoal DOES smear a lot. I'm more into non-smear mediums myself.
