Description
Made with brushes playing to the strengths of my new tilt sensitive tablet. Just some practice. I did it about a month ago. It's actually a copy of the step by step color study of cadmium yellow from the book "Color Mixing the Van Wyk Way." It's a really excellent book.So yeah . . . can't claim credit for the composition. I can for all the digital painting ness, though. And the extra brush strokes close up.

If only I could totally take credit for that! Cause I just observed what Van Wyk observed in her original . . .
I felt kinda weird posting this because it really is nothing more than a really detailed copy of another study. But the original WAS made specifically to be copied by people who watched her show and bought her art books, so . . . *shrug*
