Based on Jacob Marley from Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'

On the night of Christmas Eve, When Dr. Eggman retires to his quarters, the Eggman Empire insignia on his door turns into the face of his rebellious creation, E-102 Gamma. The robotic ghost visits his terrified former master, warning him that unless he learns to appreciate Christmas and the well-being of other people, dire consequences will behall him and many others.

Of course, Eggman refuses to believe this warning, despite being imperiled, so Gamma tells Eggman that at the stroke of midnight, he will be visited by three other spirits that will help him see sense, then vanishes into the darkness, never to be seen again.
