Description So here's where my model is at. I've based him on several of the toy variations, mainly the 20th anniversary and hybrid toys; a few comic covers from the Dreamwave era; and towards the end of my modeling I found a few pages from the upcoming IDW spotlight issue. I've even tried to take some of the more grungy high-tech elements from the movie. Along those lines I've thrown in bits of influence from armored core and have now gotten to a noodeling point, just cutting/beveling/extruding where I think it'll look cool or if an area/joint needs some more defining (and ctrl-z'ing a lot when it looks awful). I'm open to any critiques and suggestions. I'm itching to texture him and put him in some sweet poses.

It's coming along very well. The only suggestion I'd give is to give the part of the helmet right above the eye area a slight lip.

Thanks, I'll be adding in the lip. I should've paid a bit more attention to his head This project is going to take longer than I thought!

I usually find that projects extend in length because I always keep on adding details to the model

hmm, id be tempted to stylize/bulk up the smokestacks, could even shift them to the backside of the shoulder or his shoulderblade areas if they start to seem out of place, for me theyve always been a wee bit dinky on the G1 version. A fact further supported by the fact that the top of them broke off on my figure :\

Id also like to see you really work in some finer mechanics/cables/wires at any point of articulation to really sell this as a custom vision
