Oliver Twist was my favorite story growing up. I've seen/read almost every rendition of this timeless peice. I was actually watching the Roman Polanski version and I felt the need to draw my idea of how'd they look.Of course, Oliver is in the forefront and the artful Dodger is flanking him.

EXCELLENT DRAWING! ^_^ Your version of the Dodger looks just like who played Dodger back when our schoold did the musical, "Oliver!" back in '05. And now I'm making a manga about it! ^_^ it's gonna be great! I'm a major fan as well (as you can tell. ehe) but I've heard that there is a hidden number in the musical where the Dodger sings about slang. Do you know anything about it? I am on a quest to find and sing it.

Thanks! I'm glad I conveyed his youthful exuberance, while as Oliver was a sweet but prone to tears boy in the book, so I tried conveying that as well.
...I'm not sure about a hidden number, I've seen an off-broadway of it, I have the original cast recordrding and I've never heard it if there is...Be back soon or 'its a fine life' is the only thing I can think of.... sorry! If you do find one though, lemme know!

I love that movie! Great job. What does 'Flanking' mean? Is it another word for pickpocketing? anyway, its a really nice drawing.

thanks! haha, no flanking is a military term which means 'to the side' It just sounded nicer than saying that! lol
