Wow, that's a dynamic look. (I guess we know where the damage holes that are leaking through are going in on this armor, though ^.~) Very nice looking armor, though. I'd actualy like to see this finished just for the pose, the boldness, the expression.

I'm in debate mode, right now. "Has Smedly and company proven enough that they're REALLY going to change their ways? or are they just blowing smoke up everyone's asses and will stop trying to fix things and communicate... again."
I really miss SWG but I don't miss their Devs/CEO

hehe Sadly from what I hear from Kis'met the RP has gone way down hill there. Seems the power "whores" and girls with the trains of groupies(Kasenya, Ramona, Daydream, ect) are all that's left, well them and thier followings. People like Aroka and Zalym have been outcast(two good rpers imo) and it's just gone downhill ='(

Oh well...

Well, thing is, I wouldn't go back to Starsider, anyways. It was just too much of a bad situation there, as was. I got pretty tired of the whole Gorrean Slavery view of Star Wars (there was slavery, sure, but let's face it... it wasn't like the Gorrean earth THOSE people made it out to be.) that was so much in the fore-front there and the whole Disciples of Zade power-monger stupidity got annoying too. Kettemoor had a different approach to RP and I miss that. It's probably fallen apart, though, too.

Yea, it was a pretty depressing situation all things considered. It's like starsider was the Mos Eisley of the servers hehe if you pardon the joke.

Zade left though I think....cause I know when he "left" I made him as short as you can, bright pink with purple flower lekku markings So I dunno if he ever came back or what have you but I know he left once. Kyzal perma deathed himself, went on a rampage and shot himself in Eisley Cantina after killing like 5 dancers and a jedi. Was pretty funny. Trax took over and made a town called New Zealland(even though I don't play anymore it still stands, someone else ran for mayor and is running it ^_^)

I dunno, I just keep my hopes up for Vangaurd, I'm getting outta the RP and back into raiding

Plus i love having houses, cities and all of that stuff to play in.

Yea, can't go wrong with houses and player towns (that made SWG awesome!)

I was the one saying Dark and Light was going to be good, then did some beta testing for it and it sucked a friend who still plays it though said it was getting better. The company that made it never made a MMO before so I think they're just getting thier feet stattionary in some rocky waters. Maybe it'll end upo being good ^_^

As much as I love RP though I'm really ready for some brain stimulating raiding, not the laid back WoW "Gimmie Gimmie" deal....no one in that game wants to work at all for any new armor, they think they should just have it right up front; Why? because they've had everything in that game handed to them on a silver plater with no effort what so ever. I mean, most people can get to the lvl cap in one month or under. I know a friend who goes to college with me as an architecture student who spends 12 hours in studio in class in a week, and about 30+ hours outside of class in studio yet she still has 4 lvl 60's and the rest of her toon slots on that server are all 40+ except one. Two of the lvl 60's almost have all epics as well(like prophecy and whatever the mage one is I've forgot)

Oh well at this point I think I'm just ranting >.>

O.O Wow, I must've done something wrong when I played that. I took foooooorever to get to level 37. (Such a bad level grinder. Blah). I'm thinking of re-upping WoW, though just to mosey around again. I get those itches every now and then and I want to see how the weather's working.

The game I also keep wondering if I should give another chance to is City of Heroes. I am wondering if it's still mindless thug pounding up levels or if they've actually gone to some effort.

Anymore, though, I think I'm just better off doing the chat room RP. No dealing with 12 year olds PWNing, no worrying about getting to the next level. I like RPing in the evening. It's like telling bed time stories to yourself. Clears my mind of any day stupidity and I sleep good! Works for me.

Sounds like a good way to tell a bedtime story ^_^ I use to RP over the phone with my friend sara(Kis'met Zolof in SWG and Tourniquet-kitten on here) when I was younger, that was always fun

I dunno though I'm a grind whore I came outta Ac2 and that game was a grinding training school. @_@ the amount you needed to lvl went up exponentially, before they shut the servers down the lvl cap was 150...no one ever made it. I hit 53 and needed I think it was 2.5 billion xp to lvl. Course...I had like 2 other lvl 50's and all my other char slots were 40+.....One of which was a high end crafter (I loved the end crafting system in that game! you made maps of where rescorces might be and it gave you a location you could run there or go to an NPC who would port you there. then you had to keep clicking the map and it was basiclly a game of Hot and Cold till you found the "mine" and could harvest 3 times. So the better you were at harvesting the more you pulled. And you gained crafting Xp... and got to assign it where ever you wanted. You could harvest Iron and add the xp you got from harvesting to crafting with wood or whatever or you could add it to harvesting and the same worked for when you crafted )
Either way.... I miss that game alot ='(

yeah, I know I've never been very good with the whole grind for the point of getting to the next level. I guess I come out of too much old-school pen and paper RP, then White Wolf in chat and Tal's origins before SWG where it was about the story and if we leveled, cool, if not. Oh well.
I have a bad attention span for games that don't have a good outlet for RP. Everquest, original Asheron's Call, City of Heroes, WoW. They don't last with me if there's no social side. I've been told FFXI has a very strong social side but I never stick with it long enough to tell. The controls and UI frustrate me way too much.

Was it you who was telling me Dark and Light was going to be nothing special? Or someone else. I don't know about Vanguard. I like World of Warcraft but it's a very short attention span for me because I need more than just quest-running from beginning to end. The RP stimulates that little creative lobe of my brain.
