Description Woo, 2 submissions within the same week ? What happens to me ?
Second commission for the chesnut coat.
Old work, was sleeping in my dd. The original chesnut seems a bit unatural, I should have reworked it but i was lazy, as always.

So, which one should I pick for a full landscape scenery ?

edit: sorry for the bad quality

Could I ask the difference between Tobiano and Overo? I've been trying to see the difference for a while now and I'm afraid this hadn't helped. They look like just variations of the same thing.

They are variation of the Paint gene Β In fact the difference came from the white markings placement.

On the Tobiano, white should mark the four legs (up to the knee at least) and cross the back. The head should be colored (so only classic white head markings are accepted), and at least one of the broadside is not white, tail is usually bicolor, and finally eyes are dark, not reached by the white.Β

On the Overo, it's pretty the exact opposite: White should not cross the back, whole head can be white, blue eyes occurs frequently, legs are usually colored as the tail. The markings are sharpier and less clean.

And to be accurate, what i called here "Overo" is "Frame Overo", for the Splash and Sabino are also Overo coats.

Hope i helped you

Tobiano is like a white blanket on top of the horse, where holes are cut out, so you can see the colour below. And if I remember correctly Overo is everything which is NOT Tobiano, see link to wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overo

ahh. Thanks MiszD :} I still see them as the same thing, unfortunately. Hopefully that wiki page will help. Thanks!
