red turnaround for character design class. i am doing a modern rendition on the classic fairy tale, little red riding hood.--
done on PSCS5. Pencil tool/custom brush & lasso tool. 4-5 hours.

Hair and shoes are really nice, I like your use of lines too, you didn't kill it with outlines; makes the shapes look really strong

So she ended up coming like this... looks nice, but I've got to admit I miss some lipstick on her lips, as in some of the older designs.

My professor kept pushing for a more youthful look, so her half-lidded eyes and lips had to go. Ultimately I may not be faithful with this design in the long-run, but it was a good experiment. c:
There were also some other costume designs I wanted to play with, maybe we'll see in the future.

Dammit man, you're totally going to show all of us up in class tomorrow! This is amazing. I love the lineless look to her. Her shapes and overall pose are super solid, I'm amazed!
