Description
Came up with this guy during an rp with a friend. He's an intelligent deathclaw, so he's capable of speech, and he really loves the Silver shroud radio plays. That last piece of character development was surprising, but it's also endearing.I might figure out a way to stylise and simplify the way I draw deathclaws. The detail can get tedious, even if it looks great.

I've had both my main New Vegas and Fallout 4 character be "Deathclaw Whispers"-- mostly by adopting an egg and raising it.
Plus eventually gaining a full pack of Deathclaws for followers because, at least in NV verse, the hatched DC is an Alpha.

Deathclaws are fuckin' rad, man. I wish we could have one as an officially-part-of-the-game companion, like Goris in Fallout 2. I swear, I'm gonna try my hand at making a fully voiced intelligent deathclaw companion for 4 once we get the GECK. I have no idea how to properly make mods, but you bet your ass I'm gonna learn.
I've gotta put more time into NV, but I've only sat down to play it twice and I'm not really feeling it.

There's an NV mod called "Man's Best Friend"-- never play without it c:
Lil' Ripper is just the best. Though, I usually have to scale him up so he can be the correct Alpha size.
Though he's supposed to be able to fit through doors, I like being more authentic.
He's not incredibly overpowered either. He levels up with you, and you feed him meat and mentats! He'll talk eventually, just not voiced.

Man, that'd be awesome! I figure a deathclaw might have a pretty raspy/gravelly voice though. Would you be able to get that kind of sound without it making your throat hurt? D:

A female Deathclaw companion would be pretty funny if you ask me. The thought of a woman's voice coming from a two-ton killing machine made me chuckle.

Unfortunately, that would be lore-unfriendly considering the Enclave are responsive for the existence of intelligent deathclaws and made the genes for that level of intelligence dominant only in males...
However, you never know. Lore can be bent, and maybe there's some way for the sex-specific traits to bleed over time.
Considering how many lore-unfriendly mods there are out there I honestly would like to see something like that.
