Altered Book - an alternative re-telling of the Bluebeard fairytale.

This is the frontispiece. (The quote about learning and comfort was on the original frontispiece of the book I'm altering. Loved it - so it stayed in.)

Collage - background paper is a version of Bluebeard printed on a grungy background ripped up into large shreds and then glued down; Victorian botanical illustration, acrylic glazes, packing tape transfer for the title, dymotape page tags, gold foiling pen.
