Lo stood still looking at the rising sun. The weather was clear, though some clouds overhead indicated snow would soon be coming down. The air was freezing his breath so he pulled the bandana around his neck up to cover his mouth and nose. The key on him jingled as it hit the jewelry he always carried, that being the only sound that could be heard in a 10 metre radius.
He frowned at the cold that stung his skin underneath his short fur that really was of no use against the cold. He was late. Well, depending on what was the subject in question.

The Snowpeak mountain was famous in BenBrooke. It had avalanches 3 weeks of the month and hard snowfall really all year around. Though this month, it had been semi safe to travel for almost two weeks. Which was already really unusual. And that's where Lo's lateness came into question. He was on the move as pretty much the last gorgi. A huge snowstorm was forecasted to start on the 20th of the month, so not many dared to start their climb even two days before. And that was exactly what Lo was doing. Some would call him crazy. Some already did. But Lo himself would only call himself lazy. He wanted to get a flag to the top, maybe not as the first gorgi, but at least as one who wouldn't give up. If he made it. He was still happy though. Not because he was risking his life, but because he had managed to gather a group of just as crazy gorgis that were ready to climb the mountain with him.
And that's where his lateness didn't apply. In fact, he was very early. And that fact he would come to regret deeply. He gripped at his flag, huddling at it's base next to his backpack, gazing at the sunrise to pass the time.

Lo's fur was covered in snow, as heavy flakes of snow had began to fall not long ago. He felt like a snowman when he first heard a cheerful hello and turned his head around. The snow let out a *thump* sound as it fell down from Lo's head, drowning the overacted gasp Lo let out. He tried again, now turning his whole body towards a white and blue gorgi.
"Jay!! Glad to see ya!" Lo smiled widely and rushed to the other gorgi, shaking his hand roughly, only to follow up with a complicated series of fist bumps, jokes and laughs only two strangers could've made up. Behind Jay stood a long, black-grey gorgi Lo knew to call Koivu and next to her a white-beige gorgi familiar from the town's ice cream shop, more familiarly known just as Kai. None of these gorgis Lo knew really well, but that had never kept him from company.
Koivu's hair flowed in the wind, though as you looked at it, it... didn't really flow in the right direction… But that didn't really bother Lo. Magic was a thing and Koivu seemed to be good with that stuff. Eyeing the jewelry hanging from Koivu's birch horns he raised his hand as a greeting. Not expecting a response from someone who had her eyes closed 24/7 he had to do a double take as the towering gorgi nodded her head slightly. He blinked, opening his mouth only to close it and laugh instead. He dove over to give a friendly, rough, hug to Kai, not really caring if the other gorgi was comfortable with it at all. The thought never even crossed his mind. He simply laughed like a maniac, overjoyed he wouldn't be climbing the mountain alone.
"Let's get ready! Though before, why not commemorate the moment!?"
