What's this? Art that's an actual drawing?!
Anyways, this is my entry for the official Winx site's ENG forum's "Spring and Pet Contest." The task was pretty simple: draw the Winx with their pets in a spring environment.
I chose to draw Musa, because she's my favorite character. Then I decided to draw Stella, because she has my favorite outfit....well, my favorite that's the easiest to draw. Originally I'd planned on drawing Tecna, but I wasn't in the mood to color all the stripes on her shirt.
So I cheaped out and drew Stella instead. However, I still included Chicko because despite my general dislike for the pets (they are soooo freakin' pointless!), Chicko's my favorite. He's creeping because I was too lazy to draw him fully. 
Obviously, Pepe and Ginger are there because their respective Winx girls are featured.Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm not expecting to win when there are some really kickass entries from other participants (*fantazyme and *BBlova to name a few), but I had fun drawing it anyways.

Now I'm off to work on an even bigger project.....my entry for the IT Forum's "Spring Comic" contest. I have very little comic making experience - I only did it once before for an English assignment waaaay back when I was in Grade 8 (a.k.a. 4 years ago), but I'm really excited to get started on it!

4got to ask; how do you outline your drawings?

Well, for this one I outlined it using markers...but only because the drawing was big enough that the marker outlining wouldn't ruin the picture.
Usually for my traditional pieces, I outline them using pencil crayon.

Okay thanks, but do you always use a thin black pen for the eyes? Cos if not, it's really good for pencil

Yes, I use either a Fine Point (smallest tip you can get) Sharpie...or my "Small" artist's pen (I believe the brand is "Pitt" or something similar to that).

OMG Chicko is so KAYOOT!! x3 He (I prefer her to be a male) is by far the cutest out of all the other scary little monsters.
However, you even drew her cute in this picture!
And don't worry, my entry won't receive as much votes as yours. Yours is more detailed, and you drew not only one, but TWO girls instead. Plus, my background sucks, as I tried to make it more realistic and less...clip art-ish.
Oh, btw, I'm also entering the Italian contest, because the theme is just kick-ass!

Don't worry, my entry is even more retarded (the translators know. xP). But the illustrations are good. I'm inking it manga-style, and some of the panels are more manga-ish.
Anyway, the plot is made in such a way that makes Winx Club more interesting and less...well...sue-ish. It's more of a comedy, and Ogron's really gonna bring humour in! xD
I'll add an English version here, just in case people don't understand Italian.

I was laughing the whole way through coming up with my dialogue because of how retardedly bad it was.
The illustrations will definitely be the best part of mine, even if they're not really anything challenging or special...and I don't think I've ever seen so many profiles of Riven's face in one place before.
And all this just makes me more excited to see yours!

It's really good holly! You definitely have a chance or winning! Yeah, I know what you mean about the other AMAZING entries. I'm entering it too, but then I looked a couple of days ago and saw that fantazyme and natalie101 (BBlova) were entering it too, and thought oh, they're such amazing artists, and then I saw their entries and that thought was confirmed... still, no harm in trying right!
