Round 3 entry 2/2 for SeedrianStarPageant ! This rounds theme was theme song!!!

For Rose's entry I used the song The Days by Avicii! I love and admire Avicii's work and it really hit me hard when he passed away in 2018, right before I hit what was probably the worst time of my life, when Avicii's songs were some of the only source of comfort I could find. Like I mentioned, Avicii's songs hold a special place in my heart, and I'd like to have at least 1 Avicii song be associated with every one of my characters, one way or another. The Days gives me such a happy summery vibe, the type you'd listen to and think about hanging out with some good close friends and going out somewhere nice with!

Which is what I did a few weekends ago! Me and a close friend went to the city and then to a nice seaside town and spent the day there. I bought a preowned TMNT dvd of the 1990 live action movie (which turns out turned 30 today!!) We also hung around a beach and i befriended a ton of seagulls! Sadly summer is ending now and autumn is in full swing so now i cant be near 12 foot of any body of water unless my body wants 2 die

Anyways, the lines I used for this reflects Rose's more positive attitude and outlook on life after she makes a genuine friend and isn't surrounded by toxic people from a cult! (wow so many of my ocs are related to cults lmao) Once the Summer months come around Rose and Lockelyn go to a lot of outings, usually a beach! I wanted 2 draw a Seadrian version of Rose too so fight me i added it because b e a c h
The first parts of this segment lyrics wise is like Rose finally breaking free of the negativity of the past and finally having good days, the days she's been waiting for! the second part that i didn't do a picture for because i wanted it to be s i m p l i s t i c is like... Rose not wanting this time to end? Like after years of being stuck in an awful place emotionally and she's finally in a place where she can be genuinely happy she dosen't want it to be done yet. Last segment is basically even for years later Rose won't forget the times she's spent wiht Lockelyn and she definitely won't regret them!

I like how the beach background came out in the 3rd panel! I also love the colours i went with for everything here, and especially the outfit designs! the poses in the 3rd panel i also love!! Basically everything in the 3rd panel is lovely to me!!
