Something I made using a ton of brushes in photoshop to create a variety of effects on planets and moons to make it look like a colorful solar system. (I used over 20 layers to get it how I wanted)Brushes used:

How did you create this? I mean for Photoshop, did you have to use layers and all that? Because I suck at layers and anything besides effects...

i used brushes in photoshop on multiple layers, using different transparencies and effects and used a gradient to get the color. i have a tutorial which explains this in more detail, that can be found here: [link]

Don't blame you there! Even though I don't yet possess your level of expertise in photoshop, I've found it very helpful for my portraits and such. I had done a pic once that had 27 layers and my teacher at the time made fun of me for weeks! *pouts* Oh well, the kids I worked with liked it!
