So blotchy =_=A friend of mine got me a set of pens, like, an actual set of drawing pens, which honestly kinda scares me because they're are different thicknesses I have to worry even more about now XD So, I decided to try them out; I somewhat dislike this drawing because I took the sketching part so unseriously, but then again, the whole thing was about experimentation in the end. The 8 Pen is so freaky, it stains your hand everywhere and it bleeds through the paper if you're pressing too hard >.<

Great job!!! I personally enjoy the sketchy look and I'm sorry about the stains (happens to me all the time). Check to make sure that the pen is tight and no ink is leaking out. Anyways keep up the great work!

also, should my hand be really tense while I hold the pen or relaxed? (because I can never decide which way is more effective...)

Try for a more relaxed hand because if you are too tense, your ink can bleed or you might drawing to hard, thus ripping your picture. I know I have the tendency to be tense but I try to be relaxed when necessary. No problem!
