That movie scared the life out of me when I was a kid. Oh, if you're interested in sharks, at a local used book shop I recently bought "Close to Shore: The Terrifying Shark Attacks of 1916" by Michael Capuzzo. It's well written, and it's the story of the incidents that helped to inspire Peter Benchley.

I have never seen Jaws.

If you ever have the opportunity to see Jaws, I think you would enjoy it. The robo shark is crude by today's standards, but the performances are good and there are even some funny moments.
