For the FantasyLegends "Turn Back Time" ContestI thought I'd throw my hat in the ring. The peasant is me, but I SWEAR I have better dental hygiene than that! And better skin...
Cus if medieval peasants had phones, they would totally be taking selfies at executions and posting them on Ye Olde Instagramme
Is it completely silly? Yup. Was it fun? Once I worked out what I was doing, totally. I was tempted to put the writing at the bottom in actual Old English but I couldn't find a good translator.

800 years ago ...
This was before the Black Death caused a genetic shift in Western Man, and slowly we turned away from religious intolerance & cruel executions. In other continents man has remained animalistic in his cruelty & narrowmindedness. Executions were carried ASAP.
NOW we delay and appeal executions until the condemned die of old age on Death Row. We might as well use life imprisonment without parole.
