I've been putting off uploading this for so long. I think I first "finished" it last year. But I still wasn't happy with it. So I put it away, pulled it out again a few months later, and got to work on it again. It was finished. But I still wasn't quite happy. I did the same thing a third time earlier this year. I was happy, but I wasn't sure if I would end up changing my mind. I pulled it out last night, and finally, after all this time: I'm happy.

I should learn from you and put some pictures aside as well and continue later. But sadly many times
paper end up as garbage or I click "DELETE". xD
What comes to this picture, somehow I would see this as excellent symbolic encouragement for people who suffered from eruption of volcano.
It won´t bring back all lost houses and family members, but somehow after big catastrophe life will finds it trail again.
Coloring is gorgeous and woman has nice comforting nature. <3 You have done excellent job!

I find the time away from the painting can just sort of help reset my brain, so when I return to it I've got fresh eyes and can usually find lots more to do to it. It's the same principle as with writing, I find.
